Meme Relapse (My One And Only Poll)
I usually have a ban in my own diary on the sort of polls and quizzes that everyone else has on theirs, but vanity and curiosity about who reads these entries (and why) have meant I just can't resist this one. Please forgive me.

This will be my one and only "poll" ever, I promise. I'll list it as a LJ Memory and will check it sporadically in the future for any new or revised comments.

I am not Dickon.
Dickon is british.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would probably pretend i wasn't staring and thinking "hey isn't that dickon edwards from those bands i like" and prevent myself from making a complete toolshed of myself.
I think Dickon should pretend he's the female 'singer' from black box and entertain the people in his neighborhood in a silver catsuit.
Dickon needs a silver catsuit and possibly gold hoop earrings.
I want to probe Dickon.

I don't really know Dickon.

Dickon is probably out clubbing while we are sitting here typing because the time difference sucks.

If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would steal all his ties.

I think Dickon should come to L.A. just to have drinks with us.

Dickon needs to run outside naked screaming obscenities.

I want to fly to Prague and bother airline hostesses with Dickon.

I have a great deal of respect for Dickon.
Dickon is taller than me.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would be very nervous indeed, and most definitely make a total arse out of myself.
I think Dickon should tour norway with fosca.
Dickon needs to realize how utterly un-pathetic he is, even though that's not even a word.
I want to discuss the smiths with and, if he would let me, hug Dickon.

I sometimes read Dickon.
Dickon is self-conscious, confident and anxious.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would mix our blood together and become one with him.

I once clicked a hyperlink and found Dickon.
Dickon is a rakish swell, or perhaps a swell rake, but not, I think, a rogue.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would probably be discussing music or clothing with him, but we could let people think what they will.
I think Dickon should be more famous.
Dickon needs a "sponsor" of some sort — not a "sugar daddy" as that sounds a bit tawdry, don't you think?
I want to have a dinner party and invite Dickon.

Dickon is inspiring.

I have little respect for dickon.
Dickon is lacking in respect for the world around him.

I am strangely interested in what's up with Dickon.
Dickon is lucky to be in London.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would probably hope to hear one of his apparently famous DJ sets.

I often find myself reading the journal of Dickon (despite finding him exceptionally irritating).
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would ask him what childhood trauma made him so desperate for fame.
I think Dickon should let someone else do the singing.

I am intrigued by Dickon.
Dickon is a little scary to try and talk to.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would be scared of saying something stupid and look at my feet, and then his, as i'm sure he has cool jazzy shoes.

I am wardytron, not Dickon.
Dickon is, among other things, a sort of self-appointed heir to Quentin Crisp. He's v. good at it, mind.
If I were alone in a room with Dickon, I would probably strike up a slightly awkward conversation about mutual friends or something. I'd also suggest going to a room with a bar in it.
I think Dickon should find some way of making a living out of just being Dickon, then he could ditch the pop music and concentrate fully on the whole "Dickon" project.
Dickon needs to be funded, either by the state (the Arts Council or something, I'm sure they have worse projects) or by some sort of billionnaire philanthropist.
I want to know what love is. This is a song by Foreigner, not by Dickon.

Dickon getting paid for being dickon? That's a fantastic idea! Yeah, we inferior beings can go out and work like dogs, pay our taxes, and dickon can spend his days navel gazing and making rubbish music. I'm all for that. In fact, I might even offer to pay more tax on the condition that it goes directly to that tossrag who used to appear on orlando record covers.

I admire Dickon.

Dickon is fab.

If i were alone in a room with Dickon I would pester him for cheap make-up tips, an autograph and a picture, and probably a handshake or something.


I think Dickon should be number one in the charts. That's the official radio 1 top 40 aswell as the Smash Hits chart.

Dickon needs (... was gonna say something about 'love' or 'soulmates' etc...but i imagine you've tried that already...)

I want to kiss Dickon (it's true!! hee hee hee)
